Our guide and private transport will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour of the City of Cuzco. Our first stop will be the privately owned Precolumbian Art Museun (MAP) in the Casa Cabrera, where we can learn about our ancestral cultures and achieve a better understanding of our recent history. After this we will appreciate the colonial style of the Main Plaza, where the cathedral is located.
Next is the Sun Temple, or Qorikancha; this temple was one of the most important buildings in the time of the Inka civilization, its walls were covered with gold and it was built to honor the Sun God (Inti).
Finally we will visit the ruins close to the city of Cuzco: Q´enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman, the latter being one of the finest architectural constructions of the Tawantinsuyo (Inka Empire).
